Effective July 23, 2025, Delaware amended the Delaware Code for purposes of the State’s public accommodations, housing, insurance, education, and employment laws to add “military status” as a protected class.
“Military status” means status as any of the following:
Delaware employers: Update your anti-discrimination policies and practices to address military status and train personnel on the amended laws.
