On the evening of April 16, 2026, The Timothy School opened its doors to showcase the incredible artistic talents of its students during the 2nd Annual Heart for Autism Art Show, in partnership with Wayne Art Center, coinciding with the School’s milestone 60th anniversary celebration and Autism Awareness Month.

The School came alive with vibrant displays of creativity and imagination.  Students’ Picasso-inspired collages filled the gymnasium alongside other classroom masterpieces, while an alumni gallery honored the continued artistic journey of former students.  A special friends and family exhibit highlighted the extended School community’s creative contributions, and The Timothy School Crafters Boutique featured stunning handmade jewelry, wreaths, and crafts available for purchase.

The evening radiated with excitement and joy as teachers, families, and community supporters – including members from Rubin Fortunato – gathered to celebrate the artistic achievements that exemplify the School’s 60-year commitment to empowering students with autism to reach their greatest potential in all aspects of life.

The palpable sense of community throughout the event reflected the School’s enduring mission and the remarkable progress of its students, whose artwork served as powerful testament to their talents and growth.

The Art Show is open to the public on Saturday, April 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
