Prior to joining Rubin Fortunato, Rutu handled worker’s compensation cases at a firm in Philadelphia. Prior to that, she was a legal intern at Subaru of America, Inc., where her duties involved internal investigations of employee policy violations. Rutu was a judicial intern to the Honorable Sharon A. King of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey during the Summer 2022, and she was a Pro Bono Volunteer for the Honorable Judith H. Wizmur Bankruptcy Project from 2022 to 2024.
Rutu graduated from Rutgers Law School in May 2024, where she received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and Pro Bono Publico Award, and from Rutgers University’s Honors Program, cum laude, in May 2021 with a B.A. in Psychology and Criminal Justice and a Minor in Political Science.
Rutu is admitted to practice before the courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
