Rubin Fortunato Goes the Extra Mile for Unite for HER

On Saturday, October 18, Unite for HER hosted their 13th Annual 5K Run/Walk in downtown West Chester, Pennsylvania. Rubin Fortunato served as a Water Station Sponsor. Shareholders Michelle Liebesman and Patricia Tsipras; Associate Peter Nakonechni; Director of Finance and Operations Donald Rubendall; Paralegals Lisa Chapman, Nicole Kime, and Nella Venella, and Legal Assistant Cathy Ferrara, along with their families and friends, attended the event, which took place on a crisp fall day with clear skies.
We are proud to support Unite for HER’s mission that every person with breast and ovarian cancer feels the support of a loving community. Unite for HER is a non-profit organization that provides free services and support for breast and ovarian cancer patients nationwide, but it has local roots right here in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
At the event, the atmosphere was both inspiring and electric, as thousands of participants ran or walked the course and then gathered to enjoy post-race snacks and swag from supportive businesses. Although the streets of West Chester were temporarily closed to traffic, they were bustling with support. Thousands of attendees dressed in pink and teal (the colors for breast and ovarian cancer awareness) participated in the 5K Run/Walk. It was truly inspiring to see the community out in such large numbers, with great energy and hope.
