Juneteenth (annually observed on June 19th) – or Freedom Day as it also is known – is a holiday that memorializes the end of slavery in the United States.
Rubin Fortunato celebrates the many contributions of Black Americans throughout our nation’s history. We also acknowledge that the struggle for equality for all people in our country continues and is dependent on all of us working together to achieve a society where all members can experience freedom and justice.
