Litigation is a client-driven process. My first conversation with the client always identifies its goal – which may range from a quick settlement to taking the case through trial. I then develop a strategy to work towards achieving that goal.

Ed Winsman counsels companies on their rights and obligations related to employee resignations and terminations. He represents employers in injunctive relief actions to protect trade secrets and enforce restrictive covenants, as well as other post-employment litigation. Ed defends employers against discrimination allegations raised by current and former employees.

Ed practices in both trial and appellate courts on the state and federal level. He frequently appears before Financial Industry Regulatory Authority arbitration panels. Prior to joining Rubin Fortunato, Ed served as a law clerk for the Honorable Bonnie Brigance Leadbetter, President Judge of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.
