Karen L. Palermo focuses her practice on claims involving employment discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, other related labor and employment claims, civil rights violations, and higher education law. Among others, Ms. Palermo has litigated cases under Title VII, ADEA, ADA, Equal Pay Act, Wage Payment and Collection Law, Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002, and the Rehabilitation Act. Ms. Palermo also advises clients on employment policies and procedures, progressive discipline, and separation of employment. Ms. Palermo graduated magna cum laude from Peirce College in 1999 and graduated from Temple University School of Law in 2003. At Temple, Ms. Palermo was awarded the First Year Scholar Award and was a member of the Political and Civil Rights Law Review. Ms. Palermo is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars.
