Kathy Laubenstein represents clients on matters involving restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and employment agreements as well as in other matters pertaining to the employment relationship, including claims of discrimination or retaliation, breach of fiduciary duty, and similarly related topics. She has extensive experience in litigation in both federal and state court as well as in the administrative arena. She also has significant experience counseling companies on a wide-variety of employment-related issues, including drafting employee handbooks, implementing harassment policies, and conducting investigations into allegations of employee misconduct. Prior to joining Rubin Fortunato, Ms. Laubenstein gained substantial experience in complex commercial litigation and appellate practice. She graduated cum laude from Barnard College of Columbia University and summa cum laude from the Temple University School of Law, where she served as a research editor of the Temple Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Immediately after law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Max Rosenn of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
