Sean Duffy focuses his practice in the area of litigation, with an emphasis on employment law. He specializes in the post-employment litigation and arbitration of restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and other economic intellectual property rights, as well as the litigation of professional liability matters involving architects and engineers. Mr. Duffy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990 and the Villanova University School of Law in 1997. After graduating law school, Mr. Duffy served as an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with the 34th Engineer Battalion. In this capacity, he served as a project manager for construction projects in the U.S., Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. Prior to joining Rubin Fortunato, Mr. Duffy gained substantial experience with a Philadelphia-area firm focusing his practice in the area of professional liability defense, construction litigation, and general commercial litigation. Mr. Duffy was selected as a “Pennsylvania Rising Star” by Philadelphia Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine in 2006. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars.
