Lynda J. LaSpina works with the Employment Practices Group, focusing her practice on the challenges that arise in today’s workplace under federal, state, and local law. Prior to joining Rubin Fortunato, Ms. LaSpina served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Robert F. Kelly of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Ms. LaSpina also served as a legal intern for the Chester County (PA) District Attorney’s Office.
Ms. LaSpina graduated from the Villanova University School of Law, where she served as the Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, and received the Dorothy Day Community Service Award. As an active member of the Villanova University School of Law’s Pro Bono Society, Ms. LaSpina spent two weeks in New Orleans providing free legal services to indigent families and individuals affected by Hurricane Katrina. Ms. LaSpina was also selected to be a member of the Third Year Gift Giving Committee. As an alumna, she acts as a volunteer judge in the school’s Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition. Ms. LaSpina is also a member of the Junior League of Philadelphia, a charitable organization that promotes leadership and volunteerism among women. Ms. LaSpina received her Bachelor of Arts in English from The Pennsylvania State University.
