Gregg Marsano focuses his work on employment litigation in the areas of restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and employment agreements. He joined the firm in 2010, bringing with him a broad range of litigation experience. He has represented a number of Fortune 500 clients in federal and state court and has also served as lead trial counsel for state agencies and employees.
Mr. Marsano blends practical advocacy skills with precise attention to detail. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Marsano worked at an international law firm where he played a prominent role in developing and deposing expert witnesses in a variety of cases, and led a team of lawyers and paralegals in international discovery efforts.
Mr. Marsano also played a significant role in briefing that resulted in the dismissal of hundreds of foreign plaintiffs on forum non conveniens grounds. Prior to that, Mr. Marsano served as a Deputy Attorney General II with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. There, he tried cases and argued dispositive motions on behalf of state police and corrections officers.

Lewis, et al., FINRA Dispute Resolution No. 09-03424 (2010): obtained $552,875 in compensatory damages, $400,000 in punitive damages and forum fees against competitor Morgan Stanley for the raiding of Merrill Lynch's Bozeman, MT office
- Merrill Lynch v. Guinn, No. 28431 (Washington County Cir. Ct. May 24, 2010): Court granted motion for temporary restraining order preventing former employee from soliciting customers
- Durham v. Dep't of Corr., 2005 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 21436, (E.D. Pa. Sept. 28, 2005) aff'd, 173 Fed. Appx. 154, (3d. Cir. 2006): Obtained summary judgment on Due Process and First Amendment claims in federal district court; sought and received summary affirmance from the Third Circuit Court of Appeals
- Rauso v. Sutton et al., No. 99-2817 (E.D. Pa. October 13, 2004): Obtained jury verdict in favor of defendant in federal civil rights actions and argued for and obtained judgment as a matter of law as against two additional defendants
